Yoteimaru in Kutchan-cho

It was delicious. I visited on December 30, but most of the other customers were overseas. I couldn't make a reservation on the phone because it was a busy time. I think you waited at the store for about 30 minutes. On December 31, it was said that only take-out was available.

The further away from mountain, the better! Def. worth to go. Cash only. Pls be able to write on the paper to order or at least try to learn, don’t yell out and order! Be civilized and be quiet. All the chef are awesome!

Dinner hours from 16:00 until 20:30. Come early to avoid disappointment.A little pricey, but given Kutchan is up in the mountains, easily forgiven. Still better value than getting fleeced in Hirafu.

The best sushi train restaurant in Kutchan. The sushi is fresh and delicious and there are always tasty morsels passing by on the conveyor. You can also order a wide variety of sushi and other food and drink options off the menu. A great place to come for dinner with a few friends. Just beware of the odd business hours and be prepared to wait for a table.

My ski instructor recommended this restaurant in Kutchan, you need to get the bus if staying in Hirafu or have a car. Delicious sushi, sashimi as well as other dishes. The mode of ordering is novel, and not to hard for westerners. I especially enjoyed the pots of match and endless hot water for delicious tea. 🍣

cheap and flavourful sushi on conveyor belt. opens for dinner from 4pm, and its really bang for your buck. chef is generous with the raw fish and there is a great selection to choose from. otoro sushi is about 500 yen!

Wide variety of sushi selections but sadly not the freshest sushi in some of the selections. Overall still very good I would say.

Surprisingly good sushi in the mountains. No this is not cheap like sushiro or kula, but you get quality fresh ingredients. You can easily spend ¥3000-4000 here so I’d be careful, but I didn’t feel that the price was inflated for tourists given the quality, and yes I’m Japanese and know what I’m talking about. If you’re not familiar with sushi, this place may not be the most suitable place for beginners.

Amazing Sushi and affordable.

Amazing value for money! My boyfriend and I live in Kutchan and regularily go to "sushi train" for an easy sushi night out. Sometimes you have to wait for a seat and the last admit is usually around 7:30 but once you're seated food (obviously) comes quickly! There's an a la carte option too which is almost as quick. Always a fun night out and never too much money
